- When multiple words are typed into the keyword field, each and
every word must appear in a document's title or keyword set
for
the document to be listed on the results page. If you entered
multiple words and your search produced no results, try entering
a single word.
- Checking the box next to "Product Info.", for example, will
limit your search to "Protocols & Manuals", "Specification
Sheets", and the other Product Info. document types.
You may further narrow your search by choosing individual
document types, selecting an application,
or
typing in a keyword.
-
Keywords entered for searches of technical documents
are matched to individual words in the document titles and keyword
set. Keywords entered for searches of product literature
("Manuals
& Protocols", "MSDS's", "Citations", "Sequences" and "Specification
Sheets") are matched to product names and keyword
sets. You may also search product literature by typing a product's
catalog
number into the keyword field rather than it's name.
-
When you choose "All Technical Resources" or
nothing at all, the search function will display all documents
throughout
our Technical Resources section that match your search
criteria. You may limit your search by keyword or application
area.
-
If keywords are entered and "All Technical Resources"
is selected, the search will match the entered keywords to
words in the titles and/or keyword sets of technical
documents. The search will also match the
entered "word(s)" to catalog numbers, names, and keywords
of our products and pull up any related product literature.
-
To get a list of all documents in a certain application
area, choose an application area and leave the other search
fields
blank. Likewise, to get a list of all documents of one
type (e.g., Technical Bulletins), choose that document type and
leave all other
search fields blank.
