  • Confirm mRNA knockdown with protein analysis

  • Antibodies validated for immunohistochemistry and/or Western analysis

  • Antibodies available for detecting several commonly studied proteins

To complement Ambion's line of products for siRNA research, we now offer antibodies for the detection of various commonly studied proteins by immunofluorescence and/or Western analysis. Some of the antibodies (such as anti-GAPDH and anti-beta-actin) are ideal for use in double label experiments with fluorescently labeled siRNA to correlate the uptake of siRNA with the down regulation of target expression. These primary antibodies have been used in immunofluorescence experiments at Ambion to detect the reduction in protein levels induced by siRNA (see figures at right). Some antibodies can also be used to analyze target protein expression by Western analysis.

The antibodies are supplied in solution. Note that the concentration and volume will vary by antibody.
