Jeffrey Williams Joins Ambion to Lead Diagnostics Division

Austin, TX, January 3, 2003 – Ambion, Inc., announced that Dr. Jeffrey Williams has been named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Ambion RNA Diagnostics, a division of Ambion, Inc. His responsibilities include all aspects of planning and managing the new division. The division's mission is to take Ambion's research products expertise and related RNA technology, and leverage this into the areas of diagnostics and therapeutics.

Jeffrey Williams has over 20 years experience in the biotechnology and diagnostics industries. He has held several senior level positions in R&D, Operations and Corporate Management, most recently as Vice President and US Site Manager for Roche Diagnostics, a division of F. Hoffman-La Roche Ltd.
